Do most people buy the trip insurance from DCL? If you don't then do you purchase it from somewhere else? Has anyone had experience having to file a claim with it.
We always buy trip insurance through DCL. Unfortunately, we had to use it when our grandson (family linked with our cruise) was diagnosed with cancer two months before the cruise. Our daughter had to get extensive forms completed by the doctors/hospital (at an already bad time), but all of us got all of our cruise money returned, minus the cost of the insurance. Since we were in concierge, that was a very large cruise amount.Do most people buy the trip insurance from DCL? If you don't then do you purchase it from somewhere else? Thank you for the prayers - never enough! It's been almost two years and the cancer is still there, but as long as there are trials, hope continues.@SeaNana -- so sorry to hear that! I hope your little guy is getting better! Sending prayers his way.
Would a credit card cover if we had to cancel at the last minute?Again, I cannot stress enough the fact that you may already be covered by a different insurance : credit card, health insurance, etc.
Check before buying something you may not need.

I am so glad to read that ! People don't often realise they already have good covers.
