Trip Insurance Advice/Experience

Hi! I have a few questions about trip insurance...not sure what board would be the best place for this question. I figured I would start with the budget board and if someone can suggest a better location for the question, I will repost it there.

We are trying to book a cruise for my dad's 50th bday in July (the 4night July 16th on the Wonder). The problem is that my parents run their own business and, while we don't anticipate not being able to go at that time, there is always a chance that something comes up that prevents us from going (one or more employees quit right before that, get sick before that, many other reasons I'm sure). Based on the reasons we might cancel the trip, we are looking for a plan that offers cancel for any reason. After researching it, I found MH Ross. They offer the plan for $184 total for all of us and we would receive a 95% refund on the money we would loose from canceling. Has anyone used them or had any experience with any trip insurance that included cancel for any reason? Is there anything I should be aware of or look out for? Thanks in advance!

I have bought travel insurance with the cancel for any reason ad on but never used it. It is a good idea to buy your insurance within 14 days of your first payment on the trip so you get coverage for pre-existing conditions. Also, make sure the policy has enough coverage for medical evacuation. It is an unlikely event but it can bankrupt you.
