Trip in September

me and three friends of mine are going to wdw in mid-september. is it better to book the hotel in advance (allstar sports) or can we just walk in?waht is the better deal? how can I get discount on the hotel rates? (I'm from austria and have to book by internet) tina

You need to book ahead. Chances are walking in you won't get anything. September is free dining at Disney and a great deal of rooms are already booked.

I would book now since September is the month of the free dining promotion. That discount has ended, but there is a room only discount you could get. I would call Disney and check availability and book as soon as possible.

Definately call now. I tried to upgrade my room for sept 12-17 and the whole place is totally booked. A girlfriend is coming the week after me, and there were literally 3 rooms available in the whole place, 1 in the grand flordian, 1 in saratoga springs, and 1 in one of the pops. 22000 rooms, and they are booked up. Everyday someone cancels or changes something, so there is a chance you will get something, but I'd be calling now and every day until something opens up. Good luck!

I would book in advance for sure but not necessarily because everything is full but more so you have peace of mind. one has to remember that maybe 1 day of their request is sold out so therefore it shows as N/A... I am showing a lot of availability and at great prices on expedia right now... i am booked and ready to head down but I still check rates now and then just to see what comes up.
