trip dec8-dec13 will it be busy?

just wondering how busy it will be dec8-13 I thought this was aslow time,but I keep reading about pop warner and dance competitions, how does this effect the crowds?

We are arrving on the evening of the 8th as well. My only real fear now is crowds on Saturdays at MK (If I was a local I'd go since it's open so late), and MVMCP on the 13th. We are staying for 10 days this time though so even if we have to go at a slower pace than our usual commando style, we will still enjoy the Holiday atmosphere!

We went during the week last year around that time (I don't remember the dates but they're in my signature below) and it was really quiet. I've been on weekends in the years before 2004 and it can pick up on the weekends.

I think it will be reasonable until the week before Christmas so around the 17th it will start to get busier. That Sat. last year at MK was a MADHOUSE. You should be fine, though it does seem somewhat busier than usual this December. You only overlap a couple days with PW, their competitition ends on the 10th and most should be gone by the 11th.

We will be there 12/8 to the 13th also at WL.

In year's past we have not been bothered by the Pop Warner kids and the Cheerleaders at this time of the year.

These groups mainly stay at the All Stars with the over flow to Riverside. During the day, there are competitions at Wide World of Sports, so you do not see them.

Sometimes you do run into them on busses at night, and some do act like they own the world.

Thanks for the tips, I cannot wait to go we are staying at the gf for the first time. Ive been to wl at this time of year in 2000 and was hoping the crowds would be light.

We're going Dec. 9-14, when I saw UG site rated Sat. 10 at a 7 in the update I nearly cried. That is our MK day, and we'll be arriving @ the park late due to DH golf.

Can't change now though as I have ressies @CP for dinner.

Guess I'll just roll with it!
