Last day? No! No!! NOO!!! Ah well, it's been one heck of a trip. Normally I don't leave Orlando until 7 p.m. or later but age is becoming a factor. Getting back to Boston at 10 p.m. tired and cranky really isn't that much fun. My flight this trip is at 4:25 with a Mears' pick up at 1:30. I was ready to check out of CSR by 8:45 a.m.

Randy's mobility stopped by my room to get the scooter at 8. Another perfect rental with this business. It's two thumbs up for them all the way. My total cost for the 11 days I had the scooter was $230.

I was out the door and off to EPCOT having had breakfast at the PM. EPCOT was nearly empty. I went on TT after grabbing a FP for a ride later on. Then I watched the fountain. A slight breeze was blowing the spray toward the pin station. Because it was so hot, I went and stood in the water. You know the kids have the right idea with these fountains. I got pretty wet. A few big people were watching me and finally several of them came over and joined in. When the song ended one man who didn't get wet said to me, "You're having way too much fun." That really struck me funny. Anyone can be a kid at WDW. Go for it!

I stood in the spray at least 4 times and was always dry by the time the next song played. I didn't get wet for the 10 a.m. song though. That was Standing In Motion and I was watching it in front of the speakers smiling but with a lump in my throat.

Besides the fountain interaction, I sent a postcard, toured Ice Station Cool and found and photo'd some more topiaries. Then it was back for my last ride – TT. First ride and last ride. I left EPCOT at 11:45.

I had requested and gotten late check out so it was back to the hotel to finish packing. I was at the Mears' stop by 1. There I spent some time talking to an 81 years young CM who worked Bell Services. The bus was right on time and I forced myself on it.

Check in at MCO went pretty well. They now have phones you can use to check in. Just pick it up and you connect to a person who checks your info. Then a 5 step walk to the baggage area and I was done. That was a big improvement over waiting in a 30-minute line.

Our flight left on time and was fairly smooth. They showed a practical joke film that was hysterical. Just about everyone in the cabin was roaring with laughter. We got to Boston about 10 minutes early at 7:10 p.m. The bus back to Braintree has always been a hassle with waits for it to show up in excess of 30 minutes. I came out with my VERY heavy luggage (so heavy I finally rented a cart to carry it and then wondered why I hadn't done that years ago!) and the bus appeared about 2 minutes later. I nearly fell over from the shock. I was back in my house at 8:30.

Thus concludes Trip #14. I'm already scheming for Trip #15, hopefully in mid October.

High Points: The topiaries. The ease of checking in at MCO. The bus home arriving so quickly. The 81 year old CM at CSR.

Low Points: LEAVING!! The weight of my luggage.

Weird Point: The practical jokes film they showed on the plane.

Best Point: Standing in the spray of the fountain at EPCOT!!

More Highs, Lows, etc.

Best thing I bought: The EPCOT door mat.
Best Pin: ToT. Never the same fear twice!

Biggest surprise. The ToT is even better then before.

Overall:

High points: The weather. The pools at the BC and CSR. Some of the pins I bought. The E-Ticket nighs. The Flowers at EPCOT. The baby ducks at CSR. Riding some "new" rides.

Weird Points: The bat hanger at the AK. The pooper scooper at the AKL.

Best Points: Paul Revere and the Raiders. Anything to do with the fountain at EPCOT including standing in the spray and getting a great video of Standing in Motion. Hiding Skippy, the Disney Magic Orange. Spending time with my son Chris and his girlfriend Jen.
