We (Me,DW,DS,DD) just got back on Wednesday from our 5th WDW trip. As usual, we did a lot and would like a vacation to rest from our trip. Flew into MCO and used a town car for the first time. Hector from Tiffany was waiting for us and we were out of the airport in about 3 minutes after getting our luggage. Used the grocery stop at Kash n Karry to buy Gatorade, H2O, and cereal. Nice , quick ride to CBR. From now on it's Tiffany instead of Mears. First night we had dinner at 'Ohanna (yum & $$$) and then went to MK for the fireworks. Wednesday at MK. Thursday at Epcot. The new Space ride is impressive looking. Spent a lot of time playing the interactive games at Innoventions. Friday at MGM for Star Wars Weekend. DS & DD got Anthony Daniels' (C3PO) autograph. He was real nice and the kids were star (wars) struck. The Millionaire version with Star Wars characters and questions were fun. Saturday at AK. Dinosaur is my favorite ride. Sunday back at Epcot. Monday at Blizzard Beach. Tuesday at MK. Fireworks were supposed to be on Tuesday night but the newest schedule changed them to Wed. So we saw Illuminations again on our last night.
Other thoughts: CBR is a beautiful resort. We usually don't spend a lot of time at our resort but while we were there it seemed very peaceful. The kids swam almost every night in the big or the quiet pool. We stayed in Aruba.
The weather was in the 90s most days and very humid. Just a couple of evening thunderstorms for about an hour. One rain during a MK day while we were on Splash Mountain.
Food was mostly good. 'Ohanna was the best. Crystal Palace didn't seem as good as we remembered. Holywood & Vine was good. By the end we were buffeted out. Ate at CBR a few nights. I'll recommend the penne pasta, with chicken, marinara sauce, garlic bread, and a salad for $7.99. Seemed like a steal at Disney. And it tasted good.
In conclusion, Had a busy, fun time. It was nice to use our APs again.
