Tried for later time on Fantasmic package

I am 30 days out from our Fantasmic package and I tried to get a later time today. No luck. I don't understand why in the world they do this. Are they hoping that some people will retain their earlier PS times and they can hopefully seat more people throughout the main meal period?

Keep trying! I called 28 days out and got a time at 5:30 instead of 3:40. The CM told me she had slot every 10 minutes from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.

I got mine at 25 days out. Keep on trying. I thought at the 30 day mark I was finsihed, also.

Today I called and asked for 5/20. The CM told me they just opened those times up (I don't know if it was today or not). I remember I was calling a couple weeks ago and nothing.

Like everyone else says, just keep trying. I got a 4:20pm at Mama Melrose's at 90 days out. I tried again at 29 days out and nothing. The CM told me then that they had been opening up later times at two weeks out, so I called at exactly 14 days out and was offered a choice from 5:30-7:30pm.

I've been calling a couple of times a day for a later time for 5/30. Yesterday a CM told me they NEVER have times past 4:30. I knew that was wrong.

Today I got a cast member who was more "with it." She said, "They ARE really late releasing those times. I need to try to understand what is going on with this." She asked the person next to her, who said to try in two days. That would be 24 days out. No appararent rhyme or reason...

based on my experience and those of other posters on pther threads it appears that the later hours are opening between 20 & 25 days out. Just keep trying. I got mine at 23 days.

We have a 4.20 p.s. and we are happy with this time, were thinking of doing a few rides when everyone else starts queuing. After reading all the threads about people trying to get later times am I doing the wrong thing.

Don't give up... I got my at 18 days out... Now, note, I didn't call everyday. I called 30 days out and then again at 18 days out. The way I looked at it I could eat at the earlier time and then, when everyone is eating dinner we could do more rides with less people

Definitely don't give up. Just this very second (i'm still on the phone with the CM) I got H & V for 5/20. She told me she had openings for a party of 4 for any time from 4:450 to 7PM.... Good luck!

I agree with everyone, don't give up. I tried to change our 4:30 PS at H&V about 25 days out with not luck also, but called this morning and got it changed to 6:30.

I think your plan is an excellent one if you don't mind eating that early. That would really knock my two kids way off schedule so we wanted to do a bit later, but, honestly, I think if you don't mind the earlier time, it's a good thing.

I called today for next Thursday the 12th and got 6:40! Keep trying!
