Trick or Treating?

Could anyone give details on whether or not there might be trick or treating during Fantasy's Halloween cruise?

How does it work? I know at the park, they have (or used to) a map showing locations of the treat stations

We're on a Magic Halloween cruise in less than a month and not a peep about it from Disney. Would be great to know what to expect.

Pre-Covid, the kids got a trick or treat bag in the stateroom and there were stations around the lobby area. Not a highlight of the cruise.

You would see people in cruise groups organize cabins trick or treats, but we never participated in this.

We were on the magic last year and sailed on Halloween day. Last year for all the HOTHS sailing they put a bag of candy in the stateroom. When we boarded we were told that we would be trick or treating that night! They had about 5 or 6 stations on the top deck that we got to go to and trick-or-treat.

I have nothing to compare it to as this was our first cruise, but we're going again in October and expecting at least that or more...However I'm also not expecting them to announce the day prior to boarding

I'm on a HOTHS next week and got this email about a week ago. It basically says nothing helpful I poked around old pre-COVID navigators and found many had afternoon Halloween festivities so I am banking on that (otherwise we have to tweak a Palo reservation once on board...).

Please remember that while all Guests are invited to wear costumes, masks that completely cover a person's face may only be worn when standing still at character photo locations and must be carried when moving around the ship. We also ask that you choose costumes that are not obstructive or offensive. To avoid any disappointment or delay in the boarding process, please refrain from bringing toys or props that resemble guns, knives or other related implements, as these items will not be allowed onboard.

Made my hair piece today. Bought a braid for $10 off Amazon and glam’d it up with Dollar Tree silk flowers and hot glue.

Exactly haha! We have participated several times at WDW and never been turned away..the most memorable time was when I had to wear a Turtle shell "ninja Turtle style" and go through a little maze for the candy reward..that was at AOA resort. We laughed about that so many times..
