Trick or Treat at the Fort

So we are 8 days away from being back at our 2nd home. I have a question we go every year at the end of October and have never had the kids go trick or treating. My question is ... Is it in bad form to have the children go trick or treating without a costume? I know that I would not allow my children to do that at home, however I'm not sure about packing extra things for costumes. And 2 of my 3 children have no idea what to dress up as. So I guess I'm looking for opinions. Thanks. I can't wait to get back home to our Disney cabins.

We will be staying at the Fort for the first time this year, over the Halloween holiday. We play to hand out candy for the trick or treating, and would definitely not turn away anyone without costumes.

2) PS - my fav candy is M&M Peanuts.
3) Generally in the 1-lb bag.
4) A 2-lb bag is even better.

Last year we passed out a ton of candy. Really. All the costumes were cool but we were so busy we hardly noticed if someone wasn't in costume. It's Halloween at Disney. It doesn't get any better.
