TRex

I was told when I called a couple months ago that they will start taking reservations on Jan 5th!

On January 5 you may start calling for reservations.

T-Rex has stated they will not take reservations through Disney. You must call T-Rex directly.

I'll be calling Monday to see if they'll take them for May!

Anyone know - are these actual reservations, where you should be seated almost immediately or very brief wait, or is this priority seating a la Disney where you might still have a 30+ min wait?

Asking b/c we'll be booking for the day DD and I are doing CRT for lunch and staying for the MK parade. Her nap will be later that afternoon than any other, so I want to book a later dinner - I'm afraid to do too late, though, and then have a long wait and be eating Really late with hungry kids.

Since you can't make reservations until January 5, it's a safe assumption that nobody currently knows the specifics of how long it might take past your reservation time to be seated.

I understand that. I guess I should have been more clear. Since they're owned by the same company, and for one of the Rainforests, I believe you have to call direct - does anyone know if that's for an actual reservation or for Priority Seating? I'm guessing T-REx would be the same.

Does anyone know what time tomorrow morning they will start taking calls?

And where exactly is the T-Rex? I know its in DTD Marketplace, but have not been able to find it on a map yet.

You can't miss it when you are at DTD!! It is very visible from the water and it is basically right where DTD met the West Side (Pleasure Island). Look for the enormous T Rex!!

Just want to add that TRex was one of the highlights of our Thanksgiving trip!
I was leery because of some DIS reviews but the food was delicious and our server,Sean, was fantastic. It isn't fast, so allow some time. They encourage you to walk around the restaurant to see everything.. We ranged in age from 6 to 50 and we all enjoyed it.

That's great! I hope we can make it when we are there. Sounds fun!

I am planning on making a reservation for my upcoming trip, but maybe someone could answer me this question - Can you just go in and sit at the bar (you probably can't do this with kids though?). Also, you can just go in to make this Build a Dino things?

I just hung up with T Rex. They will be taking reservations tomorrow, Jan. 5th, at 11 am. We hope to dine there tomorrow night so I will be calling at 8 am my time, just before getting on the plane to WDW! LOL
