Wow, what great stuff you've gotten in the mail in the last few days. The outfits are amazing and the sunglasses will definitely come in very handy in sunny Florida. How fun that the girls get to pick where they wear their new things to show them off! And Trevor's Lego set is awesome! I'm glad that Kara's ear is getting better.

Great pictures, I think my favorite is of the three of them in matching sunglasses. I love how excited they are to wear all their new clothes!

Also glad to hear Kara's ear is doing better, I hope it continues that direction.

Yay that Kara got to use her new towel.

They look great in their sunglasses. The Star Wars lanyards are neat. The Sofia dress & tropical outfits are darling, and the Lego outfit is fantasic.

Kara had her appt. today. There was still packing from her surgery in her ear that never came out and led to her infection. Swim lessons are now done for her. She can not get her ear wet until May. Praying she can get it wet while in Florida!

Allie went with and I asked them to check her out for peace of mind. Turns out she too has an ear infection and possible cholesteatoma. Ugh!! We go back in May for more testing. Looks like her dream of having surgery may become a reality...

Oh no! Praying Allie does not have a cholesteatoma, two children who have undergone surgery is enough! Praying for you and your family. I hope it is just an ear infection. Also hoping Kara gets the all-clear in time to swim in Florida!

Oh no, poor Kara and you. No swimming stinks. How will you wash her hair so her ears don't get wet, earplugs?

Not Allie too! I hope the doc is wrong and she doesn't have cholesteatoma.

Thanks guys! We are hopeful that she can swim while on our wish trip. I am trying to be hopeful about Allie but at least I know what to expect if she follows her sisters path...

So 30 minutes before picking trev up from school Kara falls in a store and cuts her chin open. Stitches for my baby girl. She was amazing!!! Allie cried with Kara as they were prepping her for stitches. My friend who is due with baby #2 TODAY!!! Picked trev up for me. What a day!!! I am exhausted!

We have been gone since 8:30am and now it is 7:30pm and we are on our way home...

Sorry that yesterday was such a rough day. Life with 3 young kids is never dull, is it??? I hope that Kara's chin doesn't hurt much today and the it heals up quickly.

Be sure to keep it hidden from the sun to minimize scarring. My oldest fell while iceskating a few years ago and had to get 14 stitches near his eye. You can barely see the scar.

I cannot recommend these earplugs (EarPlanes) enough for the plane. For years I couldn't hear for at least a day after flying but these helped so much. I especially love that they are easy to put in, you can hear through them, they keep my ears open, and you only wear them for takeoff and landing. You can get them at CVS, riteaid, target, walmart, etc and they come with a little plastic case so you can use them for the flight both ways. Just make sure to get the kids size (I'm 25 and still prefer the kids size).

We did not have any! I was hopeful when I woke up this morning. I am glad it waited for today so I did not have to drive down to Children's in it! I am bummed though we never did really get snow this year. I even bought snow boots and everything on clearance last year to have it ready for this year as I didn't have anything for the kiddos last year when it finally snowed!

Today was MUCH better! Kara woke up and was her usual feisty bouncy self We had a hoedown at the preschool and Allie and Kara enjoyed it immensely! Kara was great about not going in the bouncy house. They both LOVED the pony rides the best.

Today has been a much better day all around. I'm trying not to stress about Allie. If she does in fact have cholesteatomas too at least we have caught it early and I know what to expect from Kara going through it. It is what it is and I can't change anything so I will try not and stress. The Doctor said everything should be fine with going on Trev's wish trip and we can deal with everything when we get back. The only issue will be if Kara can swim by then.

That is the hardest part I think is Kara not being able to swim. The girls have really been doing well at swimming and I hate to stop them until the fall again. I can't see putting Allie in when Kara has to sit and watch. Although Kara said she would... Did I tell you how AMAZING this kid is!! In fact all my kiddos are pretty amazing

Sorry I did not post this last night but I was EXHAUSTED!! We arrived home late last night around bedtime for the kiddos! Sitting on the front porch were 2 packages!! The kids were excited but the same time tired Maybe I should have waited for them to open them today but they insisted they wanted to do it last night

The next package comes from Tonyababyrn. Thank you SO much for blessing my kiddos!! Kara finally smiled once she seen what was inside

They all LOVE their Darth Vader backpacks! The girls even took theirs to school today They are excited to take them to Disney World with them! There were also socks for Trev and a coloring book, snack cup, water bottle and cup! Thank you!! The kids LOVED their gifts!
