I'm not really sure about how "in demand" they will be yet. I can't wait to book on the 11 month advantage, but I also love the other rooms at SSR too so I'll switch back and forth and continue to want to try out all the other DVC resorts too! As for the pics, I'm so happy to see the updated images! Thanks for posting! I'm itching to see the finished product and can't wait to book in January for my December trip and may try to switch over to THV in Feb. when booking is started for them. The one on the water is going to be a pretty common request I bet! I can see it now - everyone trying to get to checkin early enough to get the request before all the villas on the water are full - then we'll have people wanting a category within a category, !

I'll leave those for ya'll!!! I think there will be 2 sides to this coin!! If we decide to try THV unless these golf carts of the past that I've seen mentioned here & there make a return, we will be requesting whatever has the shortest walk possible to the main pool / restaurants at SSR. It does not appear that the THV's will have anything more than a "quiet pool" and no restaurants. We fly down and use DME so we don't have a car on site. We are commando types at the parks so after all of the walking at the parks we're all about being close to the ammenities.

I was on the Magic on the 10/18 where both the guides mentioned that they had sight of the points value for the THV and they were almost identical, in there words, to a 2br at SSR.

Hope this not old new?

Not rumor...it's been confirmed. DVC has already added the THV's to the SSR point chart for 2009 on the member website and yes, they're identical to a 2 bedroom villa:

Great Pics! I've never considered an add-on to SSR until now. but I would really love to stay at the THV and snagging one at the 7 month window could be pretty difficult.
