Treehouse Villa in August?

I just added a waitlist for a Treehouse Villa for the second week in August. What do you think my chances are for it to come through? Has anyone had one come through a little more than 6 months out? This is my first time waitlisting something. We have AKV's reserved in case it doesn't come through.

I have no idea! I have never gone during August. We usually go during Thanksgiving but DD got into Disney's College Program so we are taking an extra trip this year. What kind of bugs are we talking about?

I tried to get a Treehouse villa last year, without any success for any of the summer months of June through August.

We had a THV in early August '10. We had reserved AKV, and switched at 7 months. We WL for about 4 days before it came through.

I don't remember many bugs, but we had rain, and we were never able to use the deck. However, we had a wonderful time, anyway!!! I just wish we'd have been able to use the deck. Oh well.

We stayed at the THV last year in August...however, we reserved at 11-month timeline. As far as bugs, just bring you some mosquito repellant...we took advantage of deck in the evenings when having cocktails, also in the morning when having our coffee.
