Treehouse Villa here we come again!!!

Just booked the treehouse villa for June 1st 2013 for our summer vacation!!! This will be our second visit to the treehouse, and we are very excited

Loved, loved the tree house villas Would have stayed again next year but the points went up. Next trip is with extended family at OKW with a 2 bedroom and a one bedroom. First time there but I am sure it will be great! Enjoy you tree house stay

I was there last week and I did not like it because of the long waits for buses. It would take at least 1.5 hr to go anywhere. Did I miss out on a secret ;( or something?

Congrats! Our family is booked for THV for June 16-21 -- third leg of Universal Royal Pacific to SSR studio to THV stay. Also our second visit -- can't wait for master bathroom shower ( and will have to relearn to not walk too near the master bedroom bedposts --ouch!). . Keep counting down the weeks -- we're at 46.

The secret is to rent a car! No, really, we are staying there later this year and a car is a must for us. Kinda like going from a studio to a 1BR--very hard to go back! We rented a car and have never looked back. It just makes the trip much more enjoyable eliminating the hassle of buses.

Agree!! OKW is one of the best "secrets" of DVC in our opinion.. rooms are HUGE!!!!

Yeah, as I recall last time the busses can be a pain, but we'll deal with it...

We are going to be in the Treehouses on Dec. 9/12 with MIL, FIL, and BIL...that'll be 7 of us...

Worked well last time with family/friends (Jan. '11) so hoping for same this time.

The busses were not that unreasonable we found. Used the boat to DTD a lot as a way to get bus a little fast a couple of times...

Have a wonderful vacay nonetheless!

We are going back for the 2nd time Dec 26 - 30 then moving to BLT and I am excited for both parts! We did rent a car - always do but this year we are doing something different and picking up the car locally the day after arrival and keeping it for 7 out of 10 days, we figure once at BLT we will not need it the last couple nights. I will be trying the ME for the 1st time.

We requested our 1st THV to be near walking path to SSR and my teen DD's found that if they walked to Grand Stand the buses were much more consistent and it saved a lot of time! I will be doing the same for our Dec trip - cannot wait!
