She was definitely lip-synching. I like Ashley Tisdale and she's my favorite HSM alum, but I hate how no one from HSM can sing live. The first hour of the show (we got two hours of the ceremony here in NY) she sang "Suddenly" and she wasnt even lip-synching the right words! Natasha Beddingfield sang live and sounded amazing, as did Celine even though her song choices were... weird. But few things annoy me more than when big pop stars lip-synch because when they can't sing live, they're obviously hiding something

The first hour of the ceremony was definitely better than the second. They sang more Christmas music, there was more of the Rockettes, and more information and video of Christmas around the city. And Josh Groban... can you imagine being able to just open your mouth and sing like that?! His voice is INSANE! It was fun seeing the tree lit at the end of the countdown and I enjoyed most of the performances, but it could have been better.

Okay, I'll take your word for it. LOL I guess I wasn't paying that close attention and turned it soon after she started singing.

And yes, I agree that Josh Groban is amazing!

I am so glad I'm not the only one that thoiught the show was a waste of time, effort, electricity etc....

I had never heard anything by Taylor Swift (who like a deer in the headlights) and I hope I never do again!! It was pathetic. Someone that new to the public has no business coming up with a whole new melody to a classic Christmas song. Not to mention just how horrible she sounded. Pick a note honey!! Well, at least she didn't synch! LOL!

There was a whole line where she didn't even bother moving her lips! I'd tell you which line but in a fit of anger, I hit 'delete' rather than finish watching it!

Right on. I couldn't agree more! DD is skating to his rendition of Angels We Have Heard on High (duet with Brian McKnight) in a few shows around here for the holidays. Her artistic program is to Josh Groban too (Don't Give Up / You Are Loved). It brings me to tears every time she skates that particular program.

I've never really gotten into Josh Groban's music but I'm definitely going to check out more of his stuff. His voice is ridiculously amazing

I couldn't watch it but my 13 year old nephew (he lives with me) did. He said it was not as good as last year's show. He comes up with some off the wall opinions sometimes so I have to admit that I kind of just blew him off. But he'll be glad to hear that many people agreed with him!

I KNOW! I hope that's not really her & that's just the way that her 'handlers' are having her behave. I know she's older and of legal age, but my gosh, if they are going to market her to younger girls, let's keep it clean. Hilary Duff can do it, why not the HSM gals?
