Hello my name is Luis Enrique and I am a tree hugger (:

Anymore tree huggers out there?

Hey, I wouldn't read my post on the manly man thread if I were you...

Aaaaand, no I'm not really a tree hugger, but I do care aboot the environment and stuff.

Not really a tree hugger.

I recyle cans and paper and I make things out of recyclable materials. Right now I'm working on something with water bottles. I unplug things when I'm not using them. I like to save money and help the enviroment at the same time. (:

Hello, my name is Sonya and I am NOT a tree hugger. :) Flame me, but the environment and I don't get along. I've been recycling and clipping coupons for years before it was cool. Lights and tvs have always been turned off when we're not in the room. This isn't suddenly about "saving the environment", I was raised doing these things without the guise of saving the environment.

same for me. turning crap off when your not there isn't environmental at all honestly, it saves money and that's why we have always done it at our house.

Saaamme!

Avatar much Luis? Ha ha

But yeah im like half hippy and I care a LOT about the beauty and serenity of nature. Its amazing how even in the most ugly parts of the world, there can be a sliver of beauty. The world is a wonderful beautiful place.

I meant tree hugger as in more of a nature lovin' freak then a "OMG the earth is dying lets recycle every piece of crap before we all die" type of tree hugger (:

I buy the "Live Green Love Pink" VS shirts... does that make me a tree-hugger? =P

Haha, but yeah, I'm kind of a hippy. :hippie:

Exactly. That's more like common sense than tree-hugging.

I'm not a tree-hugger; I would never say that. I don't like the connotations it brings along. People shouldn't love nature and take care of the enviroment just because it's the fashionable thing to do right now. It's like vegetarianism -- just something people are doing at the moment because it seems cool (even though they're still eating meat).
