My parents and sister are going to WDW on Monday (I can't go because of work... booooo!) and I want them to bring me back something from Karamel-Kuche... Or is it Kulche? Either way, you know what I'm talking about.

What, in your opinion, is the best goody that will also travel well? Thanks for all your answers in advance!

I brought home some chocolate/caramel covered pretzel sticks earlier this year all the way back to London and aside from worrying about breaking them (though mine didn't), they tasted fine 2 days after. Had a choc/caramel crispy treat that made the same pilgrimage safely too.

If not bothered if off the 'fresh' counter, they do do bags of caramel corn and hard candy's too.

I would think that a bag of the caramel corn would travel well, but if you want to get a peek at the stuff that's normally available in the case, I have an annotated picture of it on my Flickr stream here:

Hover over it for notes that will tell you what each item is, how much it costs, and whether you can use a dining plan snack credit to buy it or not.

I want one of EACH! I'll wear my one piece instead of my bikini at the pool!!!! :goodvibes

Where is this store located????????????????

We all LOVED the chocolate covered caramel with sea salt (dark & milk). Yum!!

You are ABSOLUTELY AWESOME.

Oh my they all look so good. Gonna have to save some snack credits for Germany ;)

Thanks so much for posting the picture with all the descriptions and prices :thumbsup2

If you want caramel corn, have them bring a large ziplock with them because the bags there are just wax paper and they don't seal. I always bring ziplocks with me on vacation, so I just stuck mine in my carry on and it lasted about a week. Just be sure to push all of the air out of the bag when you zip it up.

Thank you for that picture! I know it would have taken me ages to decide at the counter, now I can have my order all ready to go in November. :)

Definitely ask for something out of the case but I would also suggest a box of the sugar-free werthers. They are in a portable box with a flip top lid and only $2 or so. They are tinier versions of the regular sized candy and they are sugar free. They are hanging loose in there, not individually wrapped, so it's easy to pop one right into your mouth. I LOVED having these in my purse for just a little something sweet (and still sugar free????? - yeah!!!!!). I wish I had bought a dozen boxes. I won't make the same mistake the next time I go!

I think we tried pretty much everything in the case except the various apples and the cupcakes ... my vote for portable AND delicious would be the dark chocolate caramels with sea salt or the caramel marshmallow roll. Adored them both.

Oh my, as soon as I read "Karame-Kuche" my mouth started to water. (Where's the drooling smiley??) I  that shop. I highly recommend the chocolate-covered caramels and the caramel popcorn. I can't wait to get back there!
