Nothing special but maybeWhat difference does that make? Do they have different onboard programming for inaugural sailings?
I wondered the same thing too. We'll be sailing on the Treasure in April. It didn't make a difference to us, just something I wondered about. From what I understand there is an initial madain voyage, the "inaugural sailing." The first stop the ship makes in each port is the "inaugural sailing to ____." And then ships also have their "inaugural season" which can be a few months or an entire year. I read a blog (travels with Nikki or something like that) where she sailed the Wish in January 2023 and it was still inaugural season with the special gifts. There's a good chance you February will be part of that.Hi
sailing in Feb it will be a little over 2 months since inaugural maiden voyage
will Feb still be inaugural sailings ?
if I remember from sailing soon after maiden fantasy for a few months it was considered inaugural sailings
thanks
I'm also doing the Treasure next February. What sailing are you on, we're on Feb 1?Hi

They should still be inaugural sailings. I sailed on the Wish last April, over half a year after the maiden voyage, and it was still called an inaugural sailing. They had run out of the inaugural gifts (hopefully they fix their math for the Treasure), but they still had inaugural items for sale in the gift shop.
Personally I was on the first Eastern on the Fantasy and nothing special happened in ports. They had inaugural shirts, cups, etc for sail though. No really special gifts that timeI wondered the same thing too. We'll be sailing on the Treasure in April. It didn't make a difference to us, just something I wondered about. I’m on the feb 22 nd cruise cannot waitI'm also doing the Treasure next February. What sailing are you on, we're on Feb 1?
Hope that's true. We sailed on the Wish in January of 2023, and I read on the forums a few weeks later they were out of inaugural gifts (so they lasted just over six months). We'll be sailing on the Treasure in summer '25, so my hope is that there will still be welcome gifts.7 night sailings on the treasure vs 3/4 night sailings on the wish means they will only need to give out half as much inaugural welcome gifts so theoretically if they make the same amount of merch as the Wish, it should last twice as long. I think if you sail anytime in 2025, you will get the gifts.
I booked that cruise.I’m on the feb 22 nd cruise cannot wait
