Dtr is platinum on the Treasure now. They did not get the cooler/backpack bag. They got the white castaway canvas bag with Mickey on it that was given out on the other ships. Rest of the items were still inaugural items.

Bummer I was looking forward to the inaugural silver gift...I do like the white bag though and won't complain about getting another one of those.

You would think they knew how many cabins are on the ship and the number of sailings that they would have ordered enough to last the inaugural season.

but they don't know how many of each CC level will be in those rooms. They probably estimate how many of each CC level will be sailing and order to that (perhaps based on metrics from other ships). Assuming that's what they do, it appears they were off with those numbers.

I guess it makes sense the silver gift would run out first. I feel like the treasure sailings are pretty top heavy, I was able to get tastings on silver booking day on a 4 night wish cruise during spring break.....nothing on a 7 night treasure cruise in the doldrums of august. I'll check again closer to sailing...but so far I haven't seen anything open up.

They ran out of Wish gifts before Dec with a summer start date...

Just returned off the Treasure last week, paper navigators are available at guest services daily after 6pm sometimes later.

I agree that they should have enough for at 12 months.

I just returned from the 7-night (8-day) Western Caribbean sailing on the Treasure - Saturday (6/28) - Saturday (7/5).

I asked Guest Services, as well as an officer we know, about the missing Inaugural Sailing Castaway Club items. They both explained that the items were only stocked for approximately five months by design, and there are no plans to restock them. As a result, we didn’t receive any inaugural sailing Castaway items, and were told they had actually run out at the end of May / beginning of June.

We spoke with a Pearl member and a couple of Platinum members who had sailed on earlier cruises. They confirmed that they were also told about the limited five-month supply on their sailings. The general advice shared was that if you want to receive the inaugural Castaway Club items, it’s best to book within the first three to 4 months of a ship’s launch.

On a separate note: our Platinum Castaway items consisted of: White castaway canvas bag with Mickey (Silver gift), dry/wet (Gold gift), and Towel (Platinum gift) with bluish color platinum lanyard.

Thanks for the info. I do like the white bag. I can use it for the beach and don't need to pack one now.
