Treasure Questions

As we are getting closer to our trip, I have a few questions. Is the Aqua mouse open prior to the muster? What time has open boarding been? Is the Silver gift a tote or a sling back? When have the rooms been ready?

Thank you!

Sailed last month. Castaway gifts were the treasure inaugural gifts. Silver was a cooler/backpack bag plus lanyards.

Cabins opened at 1:30. Did not ride the aqua mouse. We had an 11:45 PAT, so we didn’t see open boarding either.

I think you can go to guest services and request a paper navigator. We never do - we prefer the navigator app.

I found a navigator for the Wish on DCL cruise blog. The Aqua mouse was open from 12-3pm and then 415 -9 pm with all onboard at 345pm . Muster was 355 with Sail away party starting at 445. So probably yes Aquamouse should be operating before the drill.

When we went to GS to get a paper navigator we were asked if we would like it delivered every evening, why yes indeed!!

Thank you.

Regarding the aqua mouse, I saw that on the Wish too but on the Navigators for the Treasure it shows 4:30. I think that's odd.

Does Gold get the cooler/backpack bag PLUS stuff, or a diffferent bag?

Gold should* get the cooler/backpack (the Silver gift) plus a wet/dry bag (the Gold gift). Both should* be Treasure inaugural themed. That's what I got in February.

*I say "should" because I think I just read on another thread that they might be running out of some of the inaugural gifts (with no idea if they'll be restocked).

Did GS deliver it or your room steward? When we accepted GS offer to deliver, sometimes it wouldn’t arrive until after dinner for that day, although it usually arrived around noon-ish.

I would prefer that the room steward provide it during turn down.

Dtr is platinum on the Treasure now. They did not get the cooler/backpack bag. They got the white castaway canvas bag with Mickey on it that was given out on the other ships. Rest of the items were still inaugural items.

You would think they knew how many cabins are on the ship and the number of sailings that they would have ordered enough to last the inaugural season.

I’m not sure who delivered it, it was in the FE when we arrived back every evening. We left our room around 5:30pm and didn’t get back till around midnight each night.
On the wish we had to go to GS each evening and we were told the paper navigators would not be available till after 8:30pm for the next day.

They may have but then other factors came up.

  1. Damaged/otherwise not fit for distribution on delivery and there was no desire/time/facility available to replace them.
  2. Damaged while on the ship or in storage before being loaded onto the ship.
  3. Replacement after distribution due to damage that occurred prior to the guest disembarking. While some are likely damaged by the guest and by no fault of the cruise line, they aren't going to argue with the guest unless it's something super obvious.
  4. Replacement because the guest either 'didn't get it' or didn't get it.
  5. Some probably were given out to troublesome guests complaining that everyone in the stateroom should get one or 'we have 2 families in the stateroom' and GS just didn't feel like arguing it.
  6. Pixie dusted to guests who would not otherwise be entitled.
  7. Iffy logistical planning resulting in them running out on the ship even though there may be more in a warehouse somewhere, maybe known to the mouse or maybe errors on paperwork prevent the mouse from knowing they are there.
