I'm the country's biggest Amazing Race fan and I too kinda lost interest............just couldn't get into it?????

I'll try to give it another week. Oh well.

Melissa; she was Miss Florida a couple of years ago. My DD's baton teacher, Allison, is competing for the Miss Florida title in two weeks and Melissa is her best friend. My DD will be a Sunshine Princess in the pageant. We will actually see her this weekend at a party for Allison.

Sounds like we're in the same boat. DD13 lives for AR, and she lost interest in this one really quick. I'm hanging in there. It's almost TOO complicated.

I thought it was ok. The second half was better than the first. I didn't really like how they had them all lumped together. It was too confusing to keep track. But I'm sure that'll get easier as we move along.

I thought it was good not as good as the amazing race though. Hopefully next week it will be easier to follow since they are all grouped together!

I wasn't impressed. It comes off as a cheap version of the Amazing Race. It doesn't have the sense of urgency and excitement that AR has. The first hour was bad and poorly edited. The second hour was a little bit better with everyone involved in the same task. I may watch again if nothing else is on.

I agree it was just "OK". We didn't get to 'meet' any of the teams at the beginning. They just started racing. That's one thing I love about TAR is the introductions. And the host... is this guy a robot or what?

I also agree that the 2nd half was by far, better than the first.

Dh and I watched last night. We thought it was good, but all of the code solving and stuff, we definitely know that this a show that we couldn't do. When we sit and watch AR, we are always saying - oh you'd do that and I'll do this road block, blah, blah, blah. Well with this show, we were like this is interesting but too much code solving for us. We do plan to stick with it (as long as it doesn't interfer with Big Brother (ha,ha,ha). I know it won't that's what tivo's for!

I liked it. I love all the code work etc. It is also fascinating that what looks like a last place team can jump into first place and then fall again. I know I couldn't do it. Good for those who can!

Glad to see this post. I liked it too. Thought it was interesting. I think it'll get better once they get going. I still like my Amazing Race better. I thought the Browns were hilarious.
