Do you actually use your treadmill or has it become a large, dust collecting, expensive mistake?

My husband got mine as a gift for me quitting smoking. It has been about 3 or 4 years and I use it every single day except on Saturday and Sunday. I run a mile and walk a mile everyday. Love it. After you use it and get yourself in the habit you will find yourself feeling guilty not using it. Actually for me I like it because it represents picking up a better habit than smoking.

Not a treadmill, but I did have a stationary bike that made a wonderful coat hanger holder. :o

As I sit here huffing and puffing, I can say I just got off it, and ran 3.15 miles. ;)
I jog(outside) daily and in bad weather I opt for the treadmill. Its pouring today. I also try to walk 5 days a week. I take my DS when I do that so if theres any snow on the ground where the carriage wont go, or if its too cold for him, I do the treadmill instead. So, yes, I got quite a bit of use out of it the past few months.
I like that you can control your speed and see how far you have gone. I usually jog at 6.5mph and walk at 4.5.

I use mine in the winter pretty religiously. :) I'd actually LOVE to get a newer, fancier one -- ours is old, very large and very sturdy, but no bells and whistles. DH uses it in the winter as well. We've definately got our money's worth out of it, and we bought it used. I'd suggest buying a used treadmill if its your first one -- a lot of people buy them and end up using it as a coat hanger.

I use it 4 days a week, DH uses it the other 3. It collects no dust.
