Has anyone used Travelocity.com? Is it a good company to do business with?

I just found tickets from my hometown to Orlando with 1 stop for $137.00 per person, that is a total of $687.50. There is 5 in my family. I know this is a good deal because our last trip to Orlando cost us $1250.00 for airfare.

Should I go ahead and book it now? I don't have a room secured yet. I am waiting on discounted rates. Thanks!

I have used both travelocity and expedia and find them to be pretty good. In my experience when you see a good rate you shouldn't wait too long as those types of rates can disappear fast!

Gotta agree with lilsonicfan, it sounds like a good rate, grab it. You may see something twenty bucks cheaper in a month, but that's a lot easier to take than finding the best you can do in a month is fifty bucks higher.

As for Travelocity, they're a great company to work with. We never sole-source anything. We always check multiple sites, including the airline and flights offered by Travelocity. If I can get the same rate from the airline, I'd rather get it from them (more options). In particular, if the Travelocity flight you like is on US Air, go to US Air's site, run through check and tell it you're dates are flexible. Then see if the dates you want are offerd at the price you want. US Air in particular seem to often offer the same price on the same flight as bucket stores. You just have to dig.

But if the price is right, Travelocity's great to do business with. Good Luck!
