I have a dh who isn't all that into WDW either. I mean, he likes it ok, but he's not the total Disney Freak that I am! He's content to go every other year or so, even though I've been dragging him back every year! Soooo this year I planned a trip with 2 girlfriends, and we are taking my 4 yo ds with us. Everybody's happy! Dh will go back in Oct. 2004, and he will have a good time!

Ok seems like I'm the only guy who likes going to WDW. My x and I went once, 10 years ago and I couldn't get her to go again. She had been there once before and felt it was not worth it. Just didn't get the magic I guess!! Now I'm taking my DS10 on his first trip to WDW this Sept. and would like to take him at least once a year. I told this to his mother and she looked at me like I was crazy and then said what a waste of money. go figure. She was also planning on takeing my DS to Washington DC for a summer vac. this year but now that we are going to WDW she said one big trip a yera for DS is enough. Guess if we go to WDW at least once a year he'll never make it to WDC. Oh btw I do fish, but can't stand racing or other sports on TV, now that's a waste of time IMO. Good luck have fun and do what I should've done, leave him or her home!

Glad I am not alone!! After many years of nagging and persuading my dh has agreed to a family trip to WDW! However he says the only reason he is going is to pay for things and look after the kids whilst I enjoy myself ! Suppose I should be grateful but it doesn't half put a dampner on things when I'm so excited and he refuses to even talk about it!! That is one of the reasons I found these boards I've got to have someone to share my excitement with!! I'm hoping that when we get there he'll be caught up in the magic of it all but if I'm honest I don't think there is much chance!
