Hi all

We usually spend our time trying to get back to Florida, but there is no way that is going to happen this year:sad1:

So we are going to try Paris again (5th time!), we have always travelled eurostar direct from St Pancras, but now our little one is in school and we are a bit more tied to school hols. This unfortunately means that prices for eurostar are huge:sad2:, so we are wondering how easy it is to change at Lille? Is it really idiot proof? Do you really need to speak french, mine is pretty bad, it looks like the train from Lille is direct to DLRP and it is so much cheaper.

Any comments welcome.

Thanks Loads

Suzanne.

It's easy, honestly. I worried myself silly about it and i really shouldn't have.
When you get to Lille there is a massive board that lists all the trains and the times. Keep an eye on your train time and number(printed on tickets) and about 5-10 mins before your due time it will flash up and tell you what platform to go to.
Like the eurostar when wating on the platform you stand where your number carriage will be ready o board.
It's the same procedure on the way home.

No, unfortunately this is only available for the direct Eurostar.

However, if you decide to come home by the direct one you can always purchase this service in your hotel.

I've never used the bag service, whenever we've travelled by Eurostar we've always taken our cases through the bag check and put them in Guest Storage for the day (it's to the right of the ticket booths before you enter the main park). I think it costs something like €4.50 a case?? Alternatively there are huge lockers at the train station which I think are approx €10 each but I think you can get more than one case in them.

Does anyone know how close the Thayls station and Eurostar station is to Disneyland Paris?
We will be staying for a week at the Dream Castle resort and wanted to take a train one day to Brussels, one day to London, one day to Cologne Germany.
Any advice or pointing me to another thread would be appreciated.
We will be there the first week in April.
Thanks in advance
Tim:cool1:

The train to DLP from Lille is the TGV isn't it?

Anyone know how long it takes from Lille as I'm in the same position as the OP this year.
