Ok you guys are the experts. I have a few of PS reservations which I need help with determining the fastest travel route via Disney transport or my car:
1. Starting at POFQ. What is the best way to get to the Poly for 8:30 bkfast. MK opens at 9. After bkfast we're headed to MK.
2. From MK to Artist Point and back? Take the boat?
3. From AK to Boma at AKL - take the AKL bus, right? Can we take the AK bus back to AK before 7pm close, then take POFQ bus to our resort?
4. What is the best way to get from PO-FQ to Contemporary for 8pm dinner?
Thanks everybody!!

Hopefully I can help with a couple of your questions.
We just got back and had a couple of your PS's.
For Artist Point, take the boat, but make sure on your way back the MK is still open, otherwise you take a bus to a central point (like Downtown Disney or another open theme park).
For Boma's also make sure on your return that AK is still open, otherwise you take a bus to a central location. We stayed at the Swan and we took a bus to MGM and took the boat home. From POFQ you could take a bus to Downtown Disney and then the boat back.
There are ways to get back via Disney Transportation, but sometimes it took us an hour and a half getting from our PS dinner at hotels to another hotel. And the concierge always said to take a cab, luckily I was able to figure out the transportation myself.

Thanks. In light of your hour and a half travel times, seems like our best bet may be to use our car for California Grill. I really don't want to have to park the car at theme parks just for the convenience of 1 meal, but we may have to.

1. Drive to MK parking (which is the TTC). Walk to the Poly for breakfast. After breakfast take the monorail to MK.

2. Yes, take the boat. The boat will run until MK closing time.

3. Bus from AK to Boma. The bus will run until about an hour after AK closes. Transfer there to a PO/FQ bus.

4. Drive to contemporary.

Thanks Master Gracey . . .
I guess there's no good way to get to the TTC or other resorts in the morning besides a car.
Is it possible to take the MK bus from PO to MK, then the resort monorail to Poly for breakfast?

Yes, you can do this, but you may not be albe to get to the Poly in time for an 8:30 am PS if the MK opens at 9. The buses to the parks generally start running about an hour before the parks open. Check with your resort to see what time the first bus leaves. You could also ask if there is a special bus to take people to the MK for early PSs at CRT & CP. I don't know if they still do this, but if they do, ask if you can take that bus for your Poly PS. I'm sure the resort monorail will be running then so you can take that to the Poly from the MK.

Actually, driving to the TTC early in the morning isn't all that bad an option. (Parking is free to on-site guests). You'll get to park very close to the front and the Poly is just a short walk from the TTC. IMHO, it would be faster to do this than take a bus to the MK and then ride the resort monorail. Believe the monorail route from the MK is CR, TTC, Poly, GF, and back to the MK. Could take 20-30 minutes to get to the Poly from the MK.

Good luck!

I definitely see the advantage of having the car in the morning. Much quicker. I just hate the idea of retrieving the car after a LONG day at the MK. YUCK!! Of course, we could return to the POFQ for a midday break, and use the bus in the pm. I guess either with or without the car, there will be some inconvenience at one point that day.
Thanks

If you would rather not use the car in the morning, then try this. Watch for one of the "Character Breakfast" buses that start running through the resorts at 7:00. One of them will be going to MK. At MK transfer to the resort monorail which starts running at 7:15.
