That's what I was thinking. I'm glad we're not getting on the ship tomorrow. It is interesting but there could be some rough seas this week.
I could do for a day in Key West. I love that place. I have a seat at Captain Tony's with my name on it.
Has anybody had experience shipping stuff to the ship?? I am starting to think I might want to do that.
Actually, other than deck 9 by the 2 main pools, not really...it is a big ship and plays big too.

I'd be done after a sip from the first one!!
Hey Chuck..I have a question...
Have you found the ship to be extremely, overwhelmingly over crowded during Thanksgiving? We usually go during a week when jersey is off from school. Therefore it's a pretty comfortable crowd.
Where do you think they would divert our cruise to if they did have to divert it? We've never done the western, so we'll be happy with wherever we end up going.![]()
The best part of the entire trip though was when David had the bus driver take us to a small nearby village and we handed out school supplies to the children at their school. It was quite humbling and that is what DS8 was most affected by. He cried on the way back to the ship because he was so moved by the fact that the kids had been so happy about getting pencils and paper.
That is a trip I would sign up for in a minute! I am always looking for ways to show my children that they live like royalty in comparison to a majority of the world. Especially with the economic situation like it is right now, as we have to cut back from all the "wants" in our lives, so many don't even have the "needs".
