Hi Belinda, How are you doing on getting ready for the trip? Is this your first cruise or maybe first Disney cruise?

I'm looking forward to PM-ing you because I have a DD11 (Darling Daughter age 11). 10 posts allows our DD's to PM(Private message) one another. I like to keep DD's posts away from anyone snooping the sight with less than honorable intentions. It's almost like the internet is as dangerous as a stranger at the door. I've collected some areas that were helpful to me. You could ask questions to build your posts upto 10 or just type in "Thank-you for info".

Huh?? What do you mean you had a great cabin on deck 5? Do you mean you had a cat room number then they took it away? I have heard of that before. What room was it?

Welcome to you and all for everyone that is new. Although we just joined about a month ago LOL So lets just say Welcome and Congrats to everyone going on this Wonderful Thanksgiving Cruise !! And the best part...... None of us having to cook for Thanksgiving!!

Just out of curiosity, has everyone received their cruise docs yet?

No, but we *finally got confirmation of our reservation! We travel as guests of my husband's company, and generally don't get confirmed until a month or so out before and today was the day.

We have a family of five, and we weren't sure whether we'd have a family stateroom that sleeps five or two rooms. We found out today that we have two rooms on Deck 2 that have a porthole. Whether we have a verandah or not doesn't matter to me much either way, so we're ok with this. One year we were on Deck 2 under the Aft (I think) elevator and it was super noisy, but our rooms are in a different location this time so I'm about to look them up and see what people have to say.

Getting very excited now!

Oh, and I still do NOT know my room number yet! UGH I am thinking surly I will know between now and next week???

I am not expecting it, but sure hoping so...considering I am leaving 3 weeks from today. I think they are saving us for as late as possible.

Just pulled up my booking...and I have no cabin assignment now! I called and they told me they are changing it! I should know my new cabin by next week! Sorry!

Maybe that is a sign that they are moving you to a better room? I think they are bumping people up to make room for those of us that they have not assigned yet!

As of right now, there are only 9 hours left before the Disney Dream's Float-out!

Again, the float-out is scheduled to start on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at 5PM Germany Time; 11AM EST; 8AM PST.

Be sure to tune in on the WebCam at that time and POSSIBLY witness the float-out!

If you miss it, there's a chance that DisneyParks Blog will release a video/pictures shortly after, or wait for one from any DISer.

So excited to hear about the Disney Dream Float out today!

We still don't have documents or room assignments either but hopefully soon since we are doing the FE. We are on the Wonder prior to this cruise so leaving for WDW in 2 weeks and would like to have everything set pretty soon.

Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend. Not long now and I think this is the most excited I've ever been for a Thanksgiving. No cooking, no cleaning, just relaxing with the family on the Magic, what could be better?

Watching the Florida Gators beat Georgia and looking through the Disney Dream pictures, what an afternoon.

Those pictures are great, gives me goose bumps. Do you know when the dream sails into the Port in Florida. I may have to drive over to witness that.

I checked the Disney web site, they only have cat 8,9 and 4 available our week. Are those the cat's they'll assign those still waiting for room numbers?
The cruise that departs Nov 6 is still up for purchase just about all rooms except cat 12 are available.

It is set to leave from Germany Christmas Day and then I think my husband said 6 or maybe it was 10 days until it was in Port Canaveral

He knows for sure but he is downstairs watching Football.

I do know that crew members going from the MAgic to the Wonder are set to leave at the end of our cruise to fly over to Germany
