Traveling Together Reservation Question Balance Due with

Hi everyone,

I was hoping that someone might have some insight into how this would work with my existing Disney vacation reservation (room + tickets). I am booked in a travel party that has 2 separate reservations. One of the parties is thinking of canceling their part of the trip and no longer attending. Since we are family members, we applied the funds randomly to each reservation. If one of the parties cancels their part of the trip can the funds be applied to the other party or is it just refunded based on the party that cancels?

I am just really confused on how this would work!

If you have two separate reservation numbers, a refund back to the original payment card (i.e. credit card) will be issued for the canceled reservation.

Any idea how long the refund takes to show up on the credit card?

They say 7 to 10 days but mine showed up within 48 hours.

100% depends on your bank/Credit Card. WDW processes the refund next business day. I've had it show up on our account anywhere from 48 hours to 3 weeks. We have since dropped the card that took 3 weeks as that's crazy nowadays.
