Traveling toddler with grandparents

My niece is meeting us at WDW and is coming down with her grandparents. Her parents are not coming. My question is what things need to be considered.

1) We will make sure they bring an insurance card and health care power of attorney.

Do they need to do anything to fly with her, and is there anything else we are not considering?

When we traveled at the beginning of the year with our DD's, the airline asked us to bring a copy of their birth certificates as proof of age and identity.

I don't know if you will need one, but it is a thought.

Our DD3 came back from a Disney trip with grandparents in May. We wrote a letter giving permission for my parents to take DD on the trip with them and had it notarized. Also, we provided my parents with a copy of DD's birth certificate for identification. Although the airlines didn't ask for DD's id, it doesn't hurt to have it. It's also a good idea to bring along health insurance information.

I travel several times a year with my nephew (7) and always carry a copy of his birth certificate and a copy of sis' insurance card , front and back, with handwritten, notarized permission to seek medical treatment for him if necessary. Fortunately, I've never had to use or show either - never even been asked to show ID for him when flying.
