First, I love this board! I always get so much good info!

Second, my son and I will be at Disneyland Monday and Tuesday, thanks in part to the advice from fellow posters. He's a student athlete at UCSD and I'm going down this weekend to meet up with him and travel back home once he's done training on Monday. Initially, we were going to stay in SD and go to SeaWorld for a day. But, after some input from all of you, we decided to go up to Disney! :santa: I got a great last minute rate at the Fairfield Inn so we are in close walking distance.

We will leave San Diego around 11ish on Monday morning. Is it reasonable to expect that the drive will be just 2 hours at that time of day?

We have to be back to the airport by ~ 1:00 on Wednesday. Our flight isn't until 3:30 but I wanted to leave plenty of time for returning the car and security. If we leave Anaheim by 10 am, is that enough contingency?

thanks! I've always wanted to go to Disney at Christmas! I'm so excited for this trip!

Regarding your travel times, yes on both accounts. I make that drive about once a month and some days I can really fly (1 hour 20 minutes...going about 5 over the speed limit) and other days it takes a full two hours if I get caught up near Pendleton or in Irvine. There have been times when I had no choice but to leave during rush hour and that trip takes closer to 2.5 hours (bleh). Neither of the times you'll be driving will be rush hour, so you should be fine.
