Traveling before Christmas

Hi!
I'm considering going to WDW from Cleveland, December 16-23. I'm an anxious traveler at the best of times, so I'm really concerned about traveling (flying) so close to Christmas. I don't mind the flying, I just hate gobs and gobs of people that I feel like I can't get away from at the airport (I know how to avoid them at WDW

So is it not that bad as long as it's before christmas eve or will my return to cleveland be a nightmare?

The airport is likely to be a complete mob scene on 23 December. I believe that it is traditionally one of the busiest air travel days of the year.

Get to the airport very early and be prepared for crowds and delays.

We'd be doing DME. I wonder if they pick you up early on that day...
