I was just signing my TCs when I noticed there is a space to put the date. (AMEX TCs)

The date is next to the first signing box but I'm not sure whether you have to put the date you originally signed the TC or the date when you spend them?

we always put the date we spend them!!(but then we could be wrong!)

I always sign them when I spend them but Bouncy signed hers when she got them and never had any problems.

Ok that's 3 to 1 for signing when you spend the TC so far - I should have done a pole LOL

As an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers - cheques are vaild for six months from date, so sign them when you spend them.

i have just taken possesion of my travellers cheques today and was told not to date them yet as these will be valid for life without a date, but if you date them will only be valid for 6 months from that date.
