Family of mine are travelling with travelcity to Orlando at the beginning of Aug this year, Does anyone know if the flight is direct??

I looked on travelcitys FAQ and all it said is there wide bodied aircraft are direct and I have not got a clue what aircraft they will be flying on, Im not even sure if they are still using Excel aircraft.

All TCD's flights to Orlando are direct, non-stop into Sanford International Airport. :thumbsup2

I phoned TCD a few days ago and they said they are using their own XL airbus a330 s(out of manchester)
David:thumbsup2

i think some of the flights, depending on which plane they are using, are now stopping for fuel in newfoundland

We were on TCD XL flight in May and it was scheduled to re-fuel in Halifax Nova Scotia on the way out but was light enough to make it in one go. We did have to stop there to re-fuel on the way home. The XL planes are very small and cramped. I hope you will be in one of their brand new wide body one's they have on order but I'm not sure of the delivery date.

You can always phone and ask them.::yes::

ar rember the old days when plane stoped for fuell,in Bangor Mane DW wanted to know why were going to stop in Wales

TCD are using an XL France Airbus A330-243 for flights from Manchester until the end of October and a 767-300 from gatwick. All flights are direct. the stop offs to refuel were only while they were using the standby plane, an old 767-200,while their usual plane was undergoing routine maintenance.
