I have an early bkfast at Mk for 8 am. would it be quicker driving or taking the transportation offered? I heard that taking the transportation would drop you off right in front of the MK. Is this so?

Definitely take the WDW transportation to MK. You are correct that buses, monorail and boats all drop you off directly in front of the park. Driving involves parking at the TTC, possibly taking a tram to the back of TTC, and then taking the ferry or monorail to MK.

All other parks I think it's faster to drive to, since you just park in the lot and take the tram or walk in to the park.

Yes, this is so. ;)

Be at the bus stop 1 hour before your reservation.

If you drove, at that hour you would be parked within walking distance of the monorail station, but you would still have to wait for the monorail, and ride the Resort Monorail to the MK which could take 15 minutes. The time would be pretty close to taking the bus, or maybe 5-10 minutes longer.

Where are you staying?

Yup thats right. Buses drop you off at the park and thats the simplest way.

Better to allow more than an hour in case the first bus that comes is too full.

The buses at that time of morning are seldom full.
For an 8am ADR, within MK, I would be out at the MK bus stop by 7. The buses start running by 6:30am, so you should be on the second bus, perhaps the third bus depending on how often they are running..usually every 25 mins or so. If you just miss a bus, the next one will be there in time for your ADR.
