Nope, not gonna happen. But if it does, some pixie dust was REALLY sprinkled on you!
The arrival time is usually when your plane lands. You gotta wait for EVERYBODY to get off, then stand around for the luggage. Load up the towncar, it takes a good 20-30 minutes just to drive from the airport to WDW, if I remember right. Then stand in line, get all the info, drag your bags to the room. Somewhere along the way someones gotta potty, which takes even more time
THEN you have to rely on Disney transportation to get you to Poly, which can often take awhile...
PLUS just because your PS is at 8pm, doesn't mean you'll get seated then. Esp during Wishes timing. And doesn't mean you'll be seated where you can even see it... so if Wishes is at 8pm, you'd really need at least a 730 or earlier PS to ensure you'll be seated in time.
i wouldn't push it my first night. I'd spend that night hanging out at the hotel, checking things out, and eating a leisurely dinner. Maybe head to the Boardwalk and wander around there or something. Then on another night, plan for Ohanas and Wishes and the parade.
