Travel time between FW Lodge and FW Campground?

We will be going to dinner at WCC for 5:35 on 12/15 and I have booked a 8p sleigh ride at the campground. I figure if we are seated 15 min late (though I always arrive 15 early) we should still be done eating by 7. We are fast eaters and once we're done eating we pay and leave. We have to check in at the sleigh ride at 7:45. Do you think this leaves enough time? It seems reasonable to me yet I don't know how big both resorts are once you arrive there. What would be my best bet to get between resorts short of a taxi? Does the boat run between both resorts or would it go to MK first and then go back to the campground? Thanks everyone.

First of all, there is no Fort Wilderness Lodge. It's just the Wilderness Lodge and a completely separate resort from Fort Wilderness. There is a regular boat that runs among CR, WL, FW. And then there is the boat that goes between FW, WL and MK.

There is a bus that goes between WL and FW. This may be quicker than the boat as the bus takes a private road connecting the resorts. The bus stops also save a bit of time walking to the boat docks as the locations seem like back tracking to me.

Ok thank you. I knew the resorts were different but I did think it was FW Lodge :rotfl2:. Oh well.

Do you think that alots enough time?

I think you will have enough time. We always take the boat from WL to FW. Sometimes it goes to CR first. I don't remember the hours on the way it rotates. If it goes to CR first, it will probably take about 10-15 minutes to get to FW. Depending on the load and unload numbers. If it goes straight to FW from WL then you are looking at a 5 minute boat ride. I'm not sure on the consistency of the bus ride. I'm assuming it would be every 20 minutes like the rest.
