My family and I will be spending the day at Epcot. Then we have dinner reservations at ill Mulino at the Swan Hotel. What's the best way to get there from Epcot. After dinner we need to get back to the Polynesian DVC what is the best way to travel back.

1. Walk (or take the Friendship boat) from Epcot’s International Gateway.
(See map below.)
2. Bus from Swan to MK.
Monorail to TTC. (Edit: Bus from Swan to MK might stop directly at TTC.)
Walk to your room.

Or call a Lyft to take you from Swan to Poly.

You can walk or take the Friendship Launch from Epcot to Swan. To get back to the Poly it would depend on when dinner is, if buses to the parks are still running you could take the MK bus from the Swan (they are now Mears buses so not sure what their schedule is like), you could go to DHS and grab the Poly bus. There s always Uber.

I would walk from EPCOT to the Swan.
Agree with bus from Swan to MK.
I'm not sure if the boat is running from MK to Poly (I've read conflicting reports) or monorail to TTC.
If you are in a hurry, Lyft is much faster from Swan to Poly.

I understand the Mears bus from the Swan takes you to the TTC rather than the front of the MK, so if that is available, you could walk from the TTC to Poly.

Walk to Swan from International Gateway.

Fastest and best: Take Uber/Lyft/Taxi to Poly

or........
Walk or boat to Hollywood Studios and take bus back from there...
Take a bus to Disney Springs and transfer to a bus to Poly there...
Take a bus to MK and transfer to Poly there....
Walk back to EPCOT, go to the front and take the bus back to Poly...

Upatnoon's first, 3rd, and 4th options are all good (4th one depends on whether Epcot is still open when you finish dinner). Bus from Swan to Springs goes a mile or two in the direction opposite to that to get to Poly. OK idea if you want to walk around Springs before going back to Poly, but by far the longest option.

Best way to get there leaves some leeway fo suggestions so I'll offer something different. First, alot of this would depend on what time your dinner is but my suggestion would be to walk from Epcot to Swan.

Which way you walk might depend on your mood or what you prefer to drink but once you exit from the International Gateway stop at either Hurricane Hannah's or on the boardwalk for a cocktail or beer and take a leisurely stroll and enjoy the evening at your own pace. After dinner, use a rideshare.

The distance from IG to the Swan is basically the same (maybe a difference of .05 mi) whether you walk towards Beach/Yacht Club or towards Boardwalk but both would be less than a 3/4 mile.

Crescent Lake at dusk and Bay Lake at sunrise might be my two favorite places on property.

Haven't ever stayed at Swan as a full fledged, responsible adult with my own children yet. I have stayed years and years ago with my parents but I don't remember much. We are driving in early and don't expect our room to be ready but we planned to walk to the IG at Epcot upon arrival. Few oddball questions-

1. Is it faster to walk from the Swan to IG or catch a boat? I'm guessing it just depends if you happen to catch the boat at the right time. We've stayed at BWI and the walk never feels very long so I would guess Swan would only be a few minutes longer but not really sure.
2. Also, I booked my reservation direct with the hotel, can I link that reservation to MDE?
3. I have only been to Swan and Dolphin as of late for Disney buses that stopped there back this past August, so I am not that familiar with it. Presume parking is fairly easy since it's not very large and there is a parking attendant??
4. I've stayed at Marriott resorts as of late and some you can go directly to your room, can we do that with Swan or do they require desk check in?

We took it several times this January and highly recommend. One night we even got to share the lagoon with Electric Water Pageant.

Yes, its faster to walk to the Swan from the IG. Even if you do catch a boat at the right time, walking is still faster since the boat stops at Yacht Club, then Boardwalk before finally going to IG.
