susy-check out my response to your post under "found the perfect stroller?", I got the travel savvy & love it! I just got it yesterday & tried it out, very nice & smooth, folds up very easily & seems sturdy IMO. I have seen it a BRU & Burlington Coat Factory's Baby Depot. BRU sells it for $79.95 + tax (our store only had navy dot) & Burlington sold it for $69.9x + tax (they had it in the blue/green plaid).
I decided to buy mine from babystyle.com for $78.xx, plus shipping--they have a discount code for $15.00 off so I only paid the $78.xx. I found the code at:
www.flamingoworld.com. I ordered the stroller on Sunday night & got it on Wednesday, so I was happy with their service. I had to order it since we wanted one of the brighter colors--easier to spot in the "sea of blue strollers".
We choose this particular stroller because it was
very lightweight (only 11 lbs), folds down to 10" thin and had the double wheels on the front & back. Yes, the basket is small--this was not an issue since DS is potty-trained & we always carry a backpack to the park anyways. There is a small pocket on the back of the canopy too for small things. The foot rest is a little high, but DS is still able to rest his feet comfortably at this point. For the price this is a good stroller, IMO.
Maclarens are great (I had one that was stolen last year @ WDW, hence this purchase!), you can't compare this stroller to a MacLaren-the price different is huge. I don't plan on using this stroller too much except for airports & travel @ amusements parks, outlet malls, etc... because of DSs age (4 1/2)
Hope you have fun trying them out!
