Has anyone used this stroller and how did it work out? My son is 3 and a half . He's very light, but tall (38 inches). Can anyone tell me if you think he's too tall for this stroller? I read a review by someone who didn't like the fact that the canopy was so high. It didn't block the sun for her baby. The high canopy might work in my favor. I'm thinking of going to Babies R Us this weekend and trying it out. On the Combi sight it came out to 78 dollars and change (including shipping). Any insights???

I have the combi twin savvy and I love it!!!! My daughter is 37 inches tall and the canopy isn't too short for her, the only problem is the foot rest is a little on the short side and I have to remind her to keep her feet up!!!

I had the Travel Savvy and I don't think it's a very sturdy stroller. It broke at WDW twice within 1 year. The first time was within a couple days of buying it. The lean bar across the front broke off. Combi sent me a replacement part to my home, but would not FedEx it to WDW. I was there for 10 days with a brand-new broken stroller. Since my DD was 8 months old, I taped it on with duct tape ... at least I could find my own stroller in the bunch :). The 2nd time it broke was 8 months later. The lock sheered off our second day at WDW and the stroller wouldn't stay closed. My husband was in Orlando for business so I was going to the parks alone. It was a huge pain to hold a squirmy 14 month old and a stroller that wouldn't close!

I got home from WDW the 2nd time and bought a Maclaren which I love :D.

i have the stroller and love it. but not for wdw. this biggest travel advantage to it is that it can go on the plane and in the overhead, but your child is big enough to walk onto the plane himself. for this trip with an older child i say go for bigger.

i took a century capri to wdw and loved it. it was only 50 or 60 bucks. it was bigger. it had a huge basket underneath, somethng the savvy doesnt have. it also had cup holders in the top trey and they removable trey across my sons lap.

susy-check out my response to your post under "found the perfect stroller?", I got the travel savvy & love it! I just got it yesterday & tried it out, very nice & smooth, folds up very easily & seems sturdy IMO. I have seen it a BRU & Burlington Coat Factory's Baby Depot. BRU sells it for $79.95 + tax (our store only had navy dot) & Burlington sold it for $69.9x + tax (they had it in the blue/green plaid).

I decided to buy mine from babystyle.com for $78.xx, plus shipping--they have a discount code for $15.00 off so I only paid the $78.xx. I found the code at: www.flamingoworld.com. I ordered the stroller on Sunday night & got it on Wednesday, so I was happy with their service. I had to order it since we wanted one of the brighter colors--easier to spot in the "sea of blue strollers".

We choose this particular stroller because it was very lightweight (only 11 lbs), folds down to 10" thin and had the double wheels on the front & back. Yes, the basket is small--this was not an issue since DS is potty-trained & we always carry a backpack to the park anyways. There is a small pocket on the back of the canopy too for small things. The foot rest is a little high, but DS is still able to rest his feet comfortably at this point. For the price this is a good stroller, IMO.

Maclarens are great (I had one that was stolen last year @ WDW, hence this purchase!), you can't compare this stroller to a MacLaren-the price different is huge. I don't plan on using this stroller too much except for airports & travel @ amusements parks, outlet malls, etc... because of DSs age (4 1/2)

Hope you have fun trying them out!

I took DS today to Babies R Us to try out the Travel savvy. It was SMALL! the footrest was really high. I did love the way it handled. Closing it seemed a little complicated (too many steps). We'll see. We aren't going till Nov. I may just get a $20 umbrella stroller, since we don't use a stroller for him that much.
