Travel question for NY state Dis'ers

We are going to Cooperstown in 3 weeks...flying into Albany. (DS is playing baseball there). Of course we will do the Baseball Hall of Fame Museum. And mostly go to the games and hang out.

Here is my question...We will be 4.5 or 5 hours away from Niagra, at least by what the maps show. Should we consider going there on a day trip? Is it worth that much travel time? Thanks in advance for your opinions.

Donna, Niagara Falls is much further away than that. I'm 3 hours from Albany and it would take me about 10 hours to get to Niagara Falls.

That would make it about right then...Cooperstown appears to be 2 hours west of Albany...

Right I forgot you will be in Cooperstown, I misread and thought you were going to be in Albany.

I still think it's too long for a day trip.
