travel plans for the weekend?

No, do you mean because of gas prices? Still going down the shore as usual :sunny:

I'm driving up to San Francisco to watch the SF Grand Prix bike race.

Yep. Not going to Cape Ann like we were planning.
Staying home and watching movies and working on the yard instead.

We don't have anything exciting planned. Just hanging around home, so nope no changes. and if we did have plans to go somewhere we would still be going.

Possibly. My husband is driving back to FL from NJ. Now he might end up diverting to Gulf Shores MS to pick up the parents of a friend who rode out teh storm in their home, but will not be able to stay in it due to the lack of services in the area.

We were suppossed to go out of town, but have decided to stay home...

We have football tournament games for ds. My daughter and her family are driving to Phoenix from LA. I think they are nuts what with the gas prices, but that is up to them. :cool1:

Considered driving to visit my parents (7 hours each way), but decided against it due to the gas prices. Guess I'll have to find something to do around here!

Haven't changed my plans. In fact, I'm going to do a lot more driving this weekend than I have in a long time. I'm not too happy about that, but it's the way things are unfortunately.

I don't have any for this weekend but for next weekend we're supposed to go to atlanta to see weezer and foo fighters and then the next night go to charlotte to see coldplay. i just hope we have enough gas supply to do it!

Didn't change anything, but had no travel planned.

Fortunately, our annual campout with friends is held about 50 miles away. We'll drive there and then the car will sit for two days without moving. We'll probably be driving less than normal.

Maybe, Today there are gas shortages in my area and at my folks house (100 miles away in the boondocks!), if we can't be sure of being able to buy gas, I'll have to stay home instead.

I'm supposed to head to Atlanta next weekend as well, for 3 Doors Down, Staind, Breaking Benjamin and No Address.

I'm looking forward to it, and as long as there is gas, I'll be going.

at the weekend and leaving the cars at home

the only travelling i can afford to do this weekend with the gas prices the way they are is from my bed to the couch, to the kitchen, back to the couch and then back to bed....no driving this weekend! I need my retirement money for retirement, not gas!

Can't decide -- we skipped our county fair and promised the girls we would take them to our state fair - 2-2.5 hours away.

I am not sure now with gas prices the way they are -- but I did promise. They might not notice - we haven't talked too much about it.

I will have to think about it.

We are heading to Atlanta this weekend (Stone Mountain Park to be exact) for our Anniversary. As long as there is gas to be had we are still going. The only thing that worries me is that my stepfather told me that gas is $5.57 a gallon in Atlanta right now. Anyone know if that is true??? We are taking our smaller car, but that will still cost a fortune to fill at that rate.

ETA: I just checked gas buddy . com and it shows one BP at $5.87. The rest are at pretty average rates with everywhere else. Now........how in the world are they able to jack the price that high when everyone else is still around $3?!?!?!?!?
