I logged into my DVC account last night on the dvc member website and tried to add dining plan.
It took me through the whole process and as I waited for card authorisation, I got an error stating the service was unavailable at present but to wait a few moments and try again.
At this point I don't know if my payment has been processed or not so I wait and wait.
Nothing.
I check the DVC member website and my Travel Plan has DISAPPEARED!!!
I try to ring and am told theres a 30 minute wait (from Ireland so not toll free).
I eventually email the info to member services asking them to reinstate my reservation.
I go on to MDE and the reservation/Travel Plan is still showing up but not the DDP.
I haven't yet heard back from member services BUT check again today and still the Travel Plan has not showed up on DVC website and my points remain the same (not reimbursed to me)
This kind of gives me hope that my Plan hasn't cancelled (please please) BUT theres a glitch with the DVC website.
So I check MDE again today, and the Travel Plan is there but no DDP.
I understand that I cannot book DDP on the Disney.com website.I think I have to do this on the DVC website. IF the Travel Plan won't show up on this website, then that makes it kind of difficult to do!!
I will truly freak if they have lost my reservation as its for my sons special birthday and is in the middle of peak summer holidays and very ltd/no availability now
