With all the uncertainty surrounding the £ / $ exchange rate, I have decided to get my act together and order our currency now for our christmas trip.

I have done a quick search on the web and Travel Money Services are offering a rate of 1.8498 for delivery in November, which is very good in comparison to some of the high street rates about at the moment.

Has anyone used this company before !

How did you rate their service !

I haven't used that company before but have ordered my cash tonight for December.

I got $1.8425 through www.fairfx.com. If you order £500 or more then it is free delivery and if you pay via a debit card their is no credit card fee's. I've ordered through them before and the money turns up within a day or two. I've also got one of their pre paid cards.

I would sooner have my cash now than risk leaving it with a company until November.

I always use Travelex.co.uk and find they have the best rate. They can offer delivery on their money if you call to purchase it

We have used this company for the first time this year, they were alright to deal with , i was a bit unsure at first because i was letting them have my money for a certain length of time but we got a good rate $1.9555. They are very efficecent they email all details of how to pay the money and you get an email confirming the rate that they have agreed. You can pay by bank transfer or by cheque. You tell them when you want the money delivered and it is sent on time, by recorded delivery. Our money arrived when i asked for it and i think we would use them again.
