Hi everyone!

I am trying to decide between 2 Travelex travel ins. plans for my 9/24-10/1 DCL and FL . The more comprehensive plan is 139.00, the "regular" plan is 89.00. The biggest differences are that the comp. plan has a larger baggage and travel delay maximum benefits amounts....

Given that this is hurriacne season, I'm not sure if I dare go for the regual plan....on the other hand, I don't want to spend the extra $ if I don't need the extra benefits....

Here is my question:

Which would you cjoose any why?? :confused3

TIA!

You have already saved a great deal by going with another vendor instead of the DCL plan (which is an Access America plan that DCL marks up). I see you are traveling from MN, so there is air travel involved? Also, how many of you are traveling? IS the higher amount necessary--I dont know what your costs are. If there is total of $1,000 of airfare, you don't need $5,000 of airfare coverage, right?

See where 50 bucks fits into the larger picture of your trip and if it will give you peace of mind. If it is 1% of the cost of the trip, and you would feel more secure, then it sounds like a well spent 50. In the end, all we want from insurance is peace of mind--we certainly hope to NOT have any occasions where we need to reap any benefits from most policies we buy.

I went with the Travelex Lite as the plan covered what we were looking for and the price was right. Didn't end up needing, but I felt fully covered by the lite. Good luck.
