Travel from WL to Contemporary?

I hope I am posting this in the right spot. I just made dining reservations for Chef Mickey's breakfast at the Contemporary for our upcoming trip. The time is 7:50am.
How long does it take to travel from Wilderness Lodge to Contemporary and how do you travel between these two resorts (we were originally going to stay at the Polynesian...I think I temporarily forgot I wasn't on the monorail now!).
I may have to change this reservation..it might be too early!

There are boats that make a loop between the Contemporary, Wilderness Lodge and Ft. Wilderness campground. I think they are the blue flag boats. It depends on if you have to go to the campground before you go to the cont. It could be between 5-20 minutes.

Just catch the boat between WL & CR...that time of morning they run every 15 minutes or so....

Be sure to ask what direction(path)the boat is going. They switch sometime WL-CR-MK-FW or WL-FW-MK-CR I belive in the Morning because of CM the little boat goes WL-CR-FW

There are no boats that travel between the MK and CR. The route above MK--FW-WL-MK changes direction after 3pm and becomes MK-WL-FW-MK.

The CR-WL-FW-CR route actually has one boat traveling that route (clockwise) and another going in the opposite direction (counterclockwise)

Not only does it have 2 boats, but they usually "sinc" up at the CR, meaning which ever boat(to FW or to CR) is there(at WL) when you get to the dock will get you there at the same time. So if you just missed the boat to CR, don't wait until it returns just take the boat to FW then to CR, it will take the same amountof time as waiting.
