We are going to WDW and then making a detour to stay with friends in Tampa for a few day. They are going to get us from WDW to bring us to Tampa. But now i need to figure out a way to get from Tampa to MCO on 10/18.

We have an early flight and i don't want to impose on them. Does anyone have a good suggestion of a shuttle or car service that we could take.

Thanks!

Maura

Edd will probably know. Is there anyway for you to change airports from MCO to Tampa? It may cost less to change the flights than to hire a car service.

Switching to Tampa from MCO isn't an option for us. First the flights were WAY, WAY more money. Also most of the flights from Tampa had 2 connections. I'm traveling with my 6 year old daughter and i really only wanted non-stop.

You are probably going to have to call or email someone like FL Tours, Murray Hill, etc. I just checked the Tampa Intl. site and they don't have TPA-MCO listed as a regular option.

How about a 1 way rental? Cars rented in Tampa and dropped at MCO don't have a drop charge for any of the major players. It would be about a 2 hour ride

Not going to be easy. My ds lives in Tampa and I'm always looking for the least expensive way to get from WDW to Tampa for a quick visit. Towncar services are going to be expensive...even one way. There are no shuttles that run between the two.
Your best bet is going to be a rental car. The drive is an easy one....about 80 mins depending on traffic. That's what I would do.

Would it work out for your friends to take you back the night before and you stay at an airport hotel with a shuttle?

One way car rental will be the cheapest. This car service was previously suggested. Remember the rate you're quoted includes the time/mileage required for the driver to return to Tampa.
