We are staying at Disney World for a week. The DME is taking us to the hotel. We don't plan to rent a car. What is the easiest and cheapest way to get to Sea World for a day?

Thanks.

Just wanted to let you know how to take the Lynx bus to the I-Trolley. From your hotel in WDW make your way to the Ticket and Transportation Center; the Lynx bus stop is around to the right of the Monorail stations. You want to catch the #50 bus. This bus will take you to the Sea World stop which doubles as a north bound I-Trolley stop. The southbound I-Trolley/Lynx bus stop is right across the street. Go to www.Iridetrolley.com and www.golynx.com for more info. The lynx bus runs every 1/2 hour on the :09 and :39 from Sea World stop and :18 and :48 from the TTC. The I-Trolley runs every 20 minuets. You can request maps, ect. from I-Trolley that show all their stops and what business, hotels and restaurants are located along International Dr. We intend to do Dixie Crossroads again when we return in Jan 08 and will use the bus and trolley. If you go to the outlet malls or Festival Bay mall they stop right at the entrances so you do not have to walk across the parking lots. Have a great trip. If you need more help PM me? This is more than you need to know ,but just wanted to give you options. When you get off the bus at the Sea World stop just walk through the parking lot to the entrance, it is easy.

Thanks so much for your quick reply! My daughter really wants to go to Sea World. I had read about the Lynx bus, but hadn't heard anything about the I-trolley. Do we need a ticket for the bus or just cash?

I basically have the same question on transportation to/ from Sea World to the Disney resorts. We will be staying at the Port Orleans- French Quarter. Does this hub to take the I train/ trolley depart from all resorts, or one in particular. Also- we will be going to Universal for two days. Does anyone know transportation options or shuttles for that also? A couple of years ago, our travel agent told us there was a shuttle from the disney resort we stayed at (Animal Kingdom lodge) to Sea World. The hotel concierge told us there was no such thing. We ended up paying $30 each way for a taxi which was prepostrous. We will not be renting a car either.

The Lynx bus is $1.50 for adults,$.75 for school aged children (middle and high school age must show school ID, six and under are free. The I-Trolley is $1.00 for adults, kids 12 and under with adult ride free. The Ticket and Transportation Center is on WDW property it is a station of the monorail. You can take a bus to the TTC from your resort or the monorail.I do not know about Universal transportation.

There are no direct buses from WDW resort hotels to the Transportation & Ticket Center (TTC), where you catch the Lynx bus to Sea World or other destinations. To get to the TTC, take the MK bus from your resort. Once at the MK, take the monorail or ferryboat to the TTC, and walk around the left corner to bus parking where you will find the marked Lynx bus stop. You should have change (coins, not a ticket) for the bus fare for each person.

There are two Lynx routes which stop here; You want the #50 bus (the other route heads east on Hwy 192 toward Kissimmee), which heads pretty much directly to Sea World (be sure not to miss the stop, but it is fairly obvious). You will not need the I-trolley (which isn't really a trolley car, of course) to get to Sea World. It could be used to reach International Drive destinations, but that involves about 6 (yes, six) transfers round-trip from your WDW resort to I-Drive destination.

You can also take the #50 bus all the way to downtown Orlando, where you can change buses to reach anywhere Lynx goes. That includes Universal, though since it isn't a direct route (or as convenient), you have to make so many transfers, and so on, far fewer people here really recommend it. But yes, it can be done.

Thanks so much, Pooh4me and DC7800, that's exactly what I wanted to know!! I was wondering where the TTC was; I didn't see it on any map. Thanks again for your responses.
