Hi, does anyone know when you receive your travel documents from Walt Disney travel company, we're due to fly out from the u.k in 3 weeks and booked a flight inclusive package but have not received anything yet. Any info would be much appreciated.
We did a flight inclusive with WDTC one year and our travel documents came about 10 days before our trip. They send them out much earlier without the flights and this has something to do with the timing of the airlines releasing them. I would leave it a week and then call them about two weeks out, at which stage they should be able to tell you if they have already been sent, and if not, when they are due to be issued.
We're staying at Saratoga springs resort, this is our first ever holiday to Orlando so were all really excited. We have been to disneyland resort Paris 4 times and decided the children aged 10 & 8 are at the right age for the big one. How about you?

We're staying at POFQ, so we are just along the river from you
We fell in love with POFQ in 2010. I never had any intentions of going back to the same resort over and over, but this is the third time we're doing that resort. We've done a few WDW trips now - never done DLP before.
I think your kids are a great age to appreciate the resort you're staying at this year and also, by now, they will be able to keep up with the longer days and nights at the parks so you've probably been very wise in terms of getting the most out of your time there. I have a 10 year old daughter who is my Disney Buddy and Travel Companion. She was 6 the first time I took her and we've gone back every year since then. It does become somewhat addictive
I was logging on to ask the same question. We are going to Disney during our second week though - staying at Universal first (booked separately) so we only have a week's grace - do you think if I rang them they would post out earlier? We have a Disney stay plus tickets and free dining booked - flights also separate.

If your flights are not booked as part of the Disney package then they will send them out earlier anyway, but it won't hurt to call and let them know you are leaving ahead of time. If you are one who stresses, just tell them you are leaving earlier than you really are so that they can get your docs to you sooner

have booked direct with Disney usa many times, and sometimes havent recived anything. As long as you have a confirmation e-mail you can check in with that. usually the only thing they want to see when checking in is a valid id they find it from your name

That is true but they had some trouble finding us on the system with Magical Express which was a pain after many delays and it would have helped to have had the voucher with me.
You will need the discount or promotional vouchers though. Not the fireworks viewing ones as you are on a list for those if you have booked them, but for example, we did the Characters in Flight last year with the discount voucher and they did need the original one. I know most folk here don't bother with these so it's not relevant but thought I would mention it in case anyone is reading this and planning to use any
We would also use the Characters in Flight discount too - last year we tried to do this - tried about 3 times altogether but each time it was closed due to a slight wind.
I did the characters in flight last year with the voucher but be aware they are for am flights only. It was amazing though going to try and get DH to come up this time.
With the OPs question we got our paper work through I believe it was almost a month before but that was room and tickets only no flight.
We do however even with the vouchers take the back up confirmation emails from Disney just to make sure. I am sure your Mickey mail will arrive soon though.
