I know they fly with Virgin which is a great plus for me. Looking at end of Sep. Any advice etc would be great.

Travel City Direct are owned by Virgin who bought them out in 2008 (I think) and use Virgin Flights.

Didnt realise they were owned by them, make me feel better about using them. Wounder why they have different hotels and stuff?

I reckon Travel City is more of their 'value' brand so they can offer lower prices without damaging their 'premium' Virgin brand. I got a price from Travel City and went to an in-store Virgin Holidays agency and got them to match the price, including all perks like free DTD check-in, concierge service, frequent flyer miles etc.

As MrRomance has said they are a trading name for Virgin Holidays. If you look at the bottom of their Homepage it says Copyright © 2013 Travel City Direct - part of the Virgin Holidays family

When TCD folded Virgin Holidays bought their website and customer database.
I didn't realise they had different hotels on there, they must have a reason but definitely all one company.

I'm surprised they price-matched as we were told by Virgin Holidays that they won't price match with TCD as they are part of the Virgin brand. Just for info, you would get the Virgin flying club miles whether you booked with VH, TCD or anyone else if you are taking a VA flight.

Thanks - looks like I was lucky. I have a VA credit card and get 4 miles/£1 on Virgin Holidays bookings so this was more what I meant. Thanks for advice anyway.
